My name is Kaze Poitier, and I’m a UX designer with a background in Visual Design. I am one of the many rising Bahamian creatives of this technological era.
As a creative, my philosophy and creative process are more important than who I am. I feel that an artist’s work represents more than a display of their skills, but is a testament to their presence and a reflection of their mind; art is the manifestation of ideas.
Individuals like Vincent Van Gogh, Martin Margiela, Chadwick Boseman and Jean-Michel Basquiat were more concerned about creating than they were about feeding their egos. I admire that; they let their art speak for itself.
Oh what a lovely precious dream

You can probably spot me roaming the Bay Area with headphones on, blasting some R&B records when I am not creating design solutions or in a musuem. I like exploring the city, and feeling the sun on my skin reminds me of home sometimes. If I am not outside roaming, I am catching up on some of my favourite mangas like One Piece. Sometimes I am curating my various Tumblrs gaining outfit, art and interior inspiration or simply watching films. Oh and one other thing...
A big hobby is my iPhone photography. My have this habit of capturing these moments in time that evoke emotion or a sense of nostagila. Here are some of my shots click one to see more!
